Visa variant

SBI also issues ELITE on Mastercard, RuPay, and American Express. Fees, eligibility, and lounge access are identical across all four networks. Mastercard adds exclusive complimentary golf and The Lalit hotel discounts; RuPay adds UPI-app linking (not usable for P2P transfers); Amex adds exclusive partner-restaurant discounts and Tablet Plus hotel upgrades — none of these network-specific perks carry over to this Visa edition.

RuPay variant

Same fees, eligibility, and core reward rates as the Visa ELITE. The distinguishing feature is UPI linkage (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm etc.) via the RuPay network — note RuPay credit cards cannot be used for UPI person-to-person transfers, only merchant payments. Despite the RuPay Select branding, the golf and Lalit hotel perks exclusive to the Mastercard variant are not confirmed on this variant. Existing ELITE cardholders on other networks can convert to RuPay via IVR without a fresh application.

Amex variant

Same fees, eligibility, and core reward rates as the Visa ELITE, but this variant carries American Express-specific privileges not available on the other networks: up to 25% off at partner restaurants and VIP hotel upgrades via the Tablet Plus membership. It does not carry the Mastercard variant's golf benefit or Lalit hotel discount, or the Visa variant's Hertz/Avis car-rental discounts.
